What Parameters do You Need to Look at When Buying a Bluetooth Portable Speaker

    Look at the sound quality: (four parameters)

    First explain the concepts: what is the sound quality:

    The sound quality of the speaker: To put it bluntly, it is the degree to which the speaker restores the original sound (timbre). Any original sound has a specific timbre and quality, whether it is a song, running water, or a bird.

    A Speaker size and power

    Power: The bigger the better at the same level. The power is what we generally call 3W, 5w, 10w, and this parameter directly determines the volume.
    The power is only meaningful depending on the (RMS) rated power, which is the power for continuous sound without distortion.
    If someone marks the peak power (PMPO), it is meaningless. The side shows that the power of the speaker is not good. Because of this, it instantly reaches an unsustainable power.

    B frequency response

    This parameter is too important and too complicated! ! I did my best to make it as simple as possible. I will give a detailed tutorial later.
    We all know that sound is divided into low frequency, intermediate frequency, and high frequency single frequency bands. This parameter looks at the performance of the sound in these three frequency bands. The unit is hz. The sound range that the human ear can hear is 20hz-20khz.
    Low frequency: 20-160hz
    IF: 160-2560hz
    High frequency: 2560-20khz

    If we see: 120hz-14Khz, how should we interpret it?
    That is, the sound in the low frequency range of 20-120hz of this speaker cannot be heard; the polished sound in the high frequency range of 14khz-20khz is also inaudible.

    If we see: 0hz-40khz how should we interpret it?
    In addition to 20-20khz, the part of 0-20hz / 20khz-40khz, although it is a part that cannot be heard by human ears, can actually be felt by the human body.
    The feeling of the body + the feeling of the ears creates a better overall feeling.
    Do you think that when listening to the subwoofer, the body trembles again, and the heart feels like it is about to pop out. That is, the body shakes again.

    We usually see two presentation forms of frequency response parameters:

    Just remember one sentence:
    If there is a pattern like: 30hz-20khz (+-3db), the smaller the number in the brackets, the better, and the smaller the better the sound quality. (Generally, numbers in brackets are not given, and they are given to explain that they are still very confident in their speakers)

    C Signal to Noise Ratio

    This is at least greater than 80db in the speaker field. And the bigger the number the better.
    Because the signal-to-noise ratio is the ratio of sound to noise, and the unit is DB. The larger the number, the less noise, and the less noise, the better the sound quality.

    D Other sound quality parameters/certification blessing

    This part refers to various professional certifications and other high-precision technology blessings such as:

    Hi-res audio certification is a high-quality audio product design standard proposed and defined by Sony and formulated by the Japanese and American Audio Associations.

    3 Look at the function

    A battery life:
    The longer the time at the same price, the better.

    B Dustproof and waterproof:
    Dustproof and waterproof are indicated by IPXX, the first X indicates the dustproof level, and the second X indicates the waterproof level. If so, IP6X or IPX7 means only level 6 dustproof and level 7 waterproof.
